The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at CU Boulder is seeking a Device Fabrication Technician.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Fabricate electronic and optical devices using vacuum deposition processes, and nanospacing techniques, and guide other laboratory personnel in these processes. The fabrication includes device patterning via evaporation shadow masking.

What We Can Offer

The hire rate for this temporary position is $70.00 per hour.

What We Require

BS in Chemistry.
5 years experience in vacuum deposition, including evaporation and sputtering, and maintenance of deposition systems.
5 years experience in nanospacing processes.
5 years experience training students in device fabrication processes.
Experience in evaporation shadow masking development and processing.

What You Will Need

Deep knowledge of nanospacing processes, including in liquid crystal devices, and in optical cavity devices.
Understanding of chemical interactions involved in device processing.
Expertise in evaporation shadow masking and processing.
