Job Summary
This position will support the Operations division of the Stadium, Arena, and Campus Events department by assisting guests and visitors at the entrance to the stadium, as well as providing administrative support to the Operations department. This position reports to the Assistant Manager, who reports to the Associate Director of Food & Beverage, who reports to the Director.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the reception desk at the Gate C lobby where guests, staff, vendors, and appointments check in to the stadium by sitting at the desk, checking in individuals and groups, receiving mail and packages that are being delivered to the stadium, and taking phone calls that come to the main stadium phone number.
- Maintains stadium security by checking in and providing access badges to all vendors, visitors, and any non-credentialed Stadium and Arena department staff. Controls access to the entry doors at Gate C with a door control button.
- Provide "Best of the Best" customer service by answering questions and providing assistance while also maintaining firmly the stadium policies and procedures.
- Administrative support to Operations Department during less busy times at the front desk.
- Maintains Lost and Found by receiving items that are left behind at events, logging the items and storing them. Returns items to their owners when they are connected to their belongings. Keeps log up-to-date and donates or throws out items that have been in stadium possession past the holding period of the Lost and Found policy.
- Advocates for and is an example our department culture practices of GET IT DONE, POWER IN UNITY, and BEST OF THE BEST.
- Maintains a professional appearance and workspace.
Minimum Qualifications
One year customer service or related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communications skills; and basic computer skills required.
