Job Summary

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse populations.

The Department of Music at Kutztown University announces the following temporary part-time position beginning Fall 2025: Drum Set Specialist (drum set studio teaching). A successful interview and demonstration of teaching and performance ability will be required.

Courses to be taught: MUPF 229: Applied Jazz Instruction - Drum Set

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent professional experience and three academic years of related teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

A master's degree in Music or a related field is preferred.
