Summary of Responsibilities


  • Assist the Annual Giving team to support the development, execution and assessment of extensive fundraising initiatives. Oversees the compilation of data for campaigns and initiatives within the Annual Giving scope which include collaboration with Institutional Advancement's Data, Accounting, and Gift Processing teams, as well as other campus partners. Duties include lists requests, donation tracking, analyzing, and compiling reports.
  • Coordinates a comprehensive calendar of the Annual Giving team's appeals and campaigns and oversees project management deadlines. Manages ClickUp or other project management tools used by the team to ensure project deadlines and tasks are completed. Schedules department and team meetings and takes minutes.
  • Manages office inventory and supplies and assists with recognizing team birthdays and employee appreciation. Assists in budget tracking and management. May assist with planning retreats and presentations.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree and two years of professional experience in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Public Relations, English, or a related field, or an Associate degree with two years' experience in a related field.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of best practices for project management, tracking, and organizational tasks.
  • Experience in advancement, nonprofit, or higher education.
  • Business administrative and customer service practices.
Skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic, robust attention to detail, and strong organizational and analytical abilities, particularly regarding data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact with donors, alumni, and campus partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as ClickUp.
Abilities
  • Intrinsically motivated and able to create innovative ideas to achieve results.
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and set priorities to manage the team's projects.
  • Takes responsibility and initiative to set and meet goals.
  • Poised, professional manner with the ability to express oneself clearly with others in all forms of communication, verbal and written, one-on-one and team settings, and occasionally in presentations.
  • Able to communicate in a direct and professional manner and professionally resolve differences.
  • Competency with a donor database system, such as Blackbaud Raisers Edge, preferred.
