Job Summary
The Multimedia Producer is a key creative contributor within the Division of College Marketing and Communications at the College of the Holy Cross. This position reports directly to the Creative Director and is responsible for creating compelling multimedia content-video, photography, audio, and emerging media formats-that showcases the academic, spiritual, and cultural life of the College. The goal is to highlight the achievements of our students, faculty, and alumni while reinforcing the College's mission and strategic messaging.The ideal candidate is a dynamic storyteller with a passion for visual communication and a deep understanding of digital media production. This position involves concept development, coordinating participants, scripting, interviewing, shooting, editing, and delivering polished content across a multitude of channels. Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Plan, produce, and deliver high-quality, visually compelling content across video, photography, and audio formats from concept through post-production.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop innovative and strategic storytelling approaches.
  • Manage the end-to-end production process including scheduling, storyboarding, scripting, filming, editing, and delivery across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Act as a liaison between the Marketing and Communications team and other departments, facilitating storytelling that communicates the College's values, mission, and community.
  • Collaborate closely with the Division of Advancement to develop and distribute campaign-specific content that drives engagement and revenue, and to measure and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Keep updated on current and emerging trends, tools and technologies related to video and multimedia production.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for multimedia assets, including edits and repurposing content for specific campaigns or initiatives.
  • Contribute to content strategy by recommending optimal channels and formats for distribution, including social media, email marketing, web, and paid advertising.
  • Work with communications staff to review content performance and use insights to inform future content production.
Minimum QualificationsIn addition to a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Photography, Film/Videography,Journalism, New Media Production or related field the Producer will be someone with:
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking combined with technical proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while aligning with strategic goals.

The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees. The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff, including:

  • This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement - upon hire, candidates will need to live within commuting distance
