St. Catherine University is seeking temporary 1st and 2nd Assistant Coaches to help lead our NCAA varsity sports program. These roles are primarily focused on direct coaching of student-athletes in both individual and team settings, including practices, skill work, and competitions.

The 1st Assistant Coach will also take on significant administrative duties, including team operations and recruitment, with responsibilities extending beyond the traditional playing season. This role involves substantial interaction with team members.

Responsibilities:

Providing direct coaching to student-athletes individually and in groups.
Coach student-athletes in a team, small group or individual setting. This will include practices, individual skill work, and competition.
Assist the head coach in implementing an effective recruitment structure that enrolls strong student-athletes.
Assist the head coach in off the court/field aspects of running a competitive NCAA Division III athletic program.

Salary: $500 - $17,500

Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Coaching experience at the college, high school, or club level - or significant NCAA playing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
Experience with NCAA Division III.
Collegiate coaching or playing experience.
