Adjunct Faculty, Liberal Studies (Fall 2025)

Applications are being accepted to create a pool of qualified instructors for part-time teaching positions for face-to-face on-campus instruction. All applications remain on file for one year from the submission date.

The Division of Liberal Studies invites applications in the following areas:
  • English
  • Developmental English
  • First Year Experience
  • Psychology
  • Sociology
  • Speech
  • Philosophy
  • Dual Language U.S. History (Spanish fluency required)

Job Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in field with graduate-level credit in subject area required.
  • Teaching experience
  • Ability to teach face to face courses on the Lynn or Danvers campus.
  • Familiarity with critical studies (i.e., Critical Race Theory, Critical White Studies, Gender and Women's Studies) and understanding of appropriate applications for teaching.
  • Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI background check as a condition of employment at both the college and the respective high school.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Fluency in Spanish or another language. (Candidates should note their level of proficiency in their cover letter and resume.)
