Office Assistant - Pathology Mail Courier

Job Summary

The Department of Pathology in the School of Medicine is looking for a courier to deliver mail between buildings in the Health Sciences Center and to lower campus. Light office duties.

Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking.Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences
This position is well suited for a student with daytime flexibility.
