St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) assistant professor faculty position on a 12-month professional practice contract to serve as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC) for the distance track of the St. Catherine University Occupational Therapy Assistant Program will be responsible for organizing, managing, and overseeing Level I and Level II fieldwork components for occupational therapy assistant students. This includes advising and supporting students and fieldwork educators, serving as a link between academic faculty and fieldwork educators, conducting online fieldwork seminars with students, training and supervising fieldwork educators, managing fieldwork curricula, and participating in fieldwork-related committee work within the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health and the Occupational Therapy Department.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Background and experience as an OTA or working with OTAs.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice is required with demonstrated knowledge of current occupational therapy practice.
  • Member AOTA
  • Must live in one of the following states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., Wisconsin
  • Active OT license in state of residence and must be able applicable to receive a California license.





Preferred Qualifications:
  • COTA credential
  • Online teaching experience
  • Experience as a fieldwork educator or fieldwork coordinator

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $83,000 - $88,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
