Position Announcement
Utah Valley University is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead digital marketing campaigns for enrollment growth in UVU Online and Graduate Studies. This embedded position works within UVU's central Marketing & Communications team and serves as the dedicated strategist and campaign manager for online and graduate program marketing. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a passion for higher education, skilled in planning, executing, and optimizing digital campaigns across multiple channels. This role requires expertise in enrollment marketing, strong content creation abilities, and the ability to collaborate with campus partners to align strategies with UVU's brand and recruitment goals.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and execution of marketing campaigns, programs, and initiatives to promote the Online and Graduate Studies department and overall. Drive efficiency, brand growth and affinity across a variety of verticals and audiences. Create, analyze, and support marketing plans to align with the University's strategic goals. Leverage data to drive effectiveness and efficiency. Develop and implement media planning, buying, and innovation strategies. Provide direction for design, web, video assets, and other visual communications media.
- Responsible for the working relationship with the Online and Graduate Studies MarCom team members and their day-to-day operations. This position will work collaboratively with team members in marketing best practices, organize the team for maximum efficiency, creativity, collaboration, and brand alignment across all marketing channels.
- Responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing college marketing budget and resources for the highest return on investment.
- Responsible for identifying, assigning, implementing, and distributing impactful student, staff, and faculty stories internally and externally. This individual will be designated as the representative for CET in coordination with central marcom in all public relations and media relations matters.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five years. Minimum one year of digital marketing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education enrollment marketing for online or graduate programs.
Demonstrated success managing paid media campaigns and marketing automation systems.

- Knowledge of the fundamentals of marketing (direct marketing, advertising, promotion)
- Knowledge of digital marketing and measurement strategies and principles
- Knowledge of budget and accounting principles
