(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Leads the design and implementation of advanced artificial intelligence communication and community techniques that enhance stakeholder engagement across the university, the local community, and nationally. Serves as a bridge between innovative AI capabilities and practical applications in research communications, ensuring alignment with institutional strategic goal of national prominence. Functions as a communications and influence architect, ensuring AI-driven initiatives are understood, supported, and adopted across diverse internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Develops and communicates AI engagement strategies that connect emerging technologies with academic and research priorities
2. Collaborate with university leaders, researchers, and communications teams to align messaging and increase AI adoption
3. Leads development and deployment of tools that promote AI-supported grant seeking, writing, and project management
4. Builds and manages AI storytelling frameworks to help internal and external stakeholders understand use cases and success stories
5. Partners with web and platform developers to build or enhance portals that support researcher workflows and engagement
6. Translates AI concepts into compelling multimedia assets including videos, visual explainers, and interactive stories
7. Leverages and utilizes creative platforms such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Midjourney, and RunwayML to produce narrative-driven visual content that aligns with institutional goals
8. Uses platforms like Webflow and Notion to prototype, organize, and publish digital engagement materials and research tools
9. Conducts analysis of engagement efforts using analytics tools to refine and improve messaging and adoption strategies
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Communications, Film, Marketing, or a related science field.
Required Experience
Five (5) years of experience in digital media, strategic communications, or AI implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Strong background in visual storytelling, multimedia content creation, and digital strategy
Proficiency in LLMs, prompt engineering, or multimedia-enhanced AI tools
Familiarity with platforms such as Whisper, Stable Diffusion, RAG models, or interactive web technologies
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Demonstrated experience communicating complex AI technologies to non-technical audiences
Experience in change management, narrative development, or strategic communications
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving cross-departmental collaboration
Able to evaluate the impact and ROI of AI engagement campaigns
Skilled in grant development and supporting researchers through AI-enhanced platforms
Familiarity with principles of AI ethics, fairness, and bias mitigation
Comfortable working with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, and RunwayML for ideation, visual content, and creative research storytelling
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of tools and platforms including Adobe Creative Suite, Webflow, DaVinci Resolve, Notion, ChatGPT, Midjourney, and RunwayML
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Strategic thinking with a systems-level understanding of research, technology, communications, and storytelling
Strong creative direction and multimedia production skills for digital content and visual narratives
Proficiency in AI tools, digital editing software, content management systems, and analytics platforms
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
