The Online Programs Coordinator plays a vital role on the Wharton Global Youth team, contributing to all facets of online initiatives. Job Responsibilities

Administrative Coordination
  • Create detailed master calendars for online programming
  • Assist with hiring coordination, scheduling interviews, recruiting and training teaching assistants and keeping track of hiring data
  • Answer Salesforce Help Desk to address student and parent inquiries regarding programs, logistics, schedules, etc., in a timely manner

Online Programs Operations Support

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of online programming for high school students, including: overseeing student communication, addressing technical questions, revising Canvas course sites as needed, maintaining course and project deadlines, assisting instructional team with teaching needs, monitoring the synchronous and asynchronous course/program activities, processing certificates
  • Coordinate logistics, communications, access, and delivery of business simulations within programming

Instructional Design

  • Create and manage the portfolio of Canvas course sites for online programs
  • Effectively implement, manage, and troubleshoot Canvas LTI integrations to support seamless course delivery and improved student engagement
  • Manage the course review and evaluation process. Aid in the creation of surveys and other forms of data to inform revisions
  • Serve as a liaison to the larger online course development community (both internal and external) to keep informed of current trends in online course design and delivery and facilitate the success and satisfaction of online learners

Online Community Development

  • Coordinate, develop, and implement online virtual community for program participants, to include: informative and engaging events, challenges, workshops, guest speakers and relevant activities
  • Coordinate outreach across Wharton and Penn to engage different resource centers, alumni, and student groups for community events/engagement
  • Create and maintain a master schedule of programming for the community
  • Creatively design a user-friendly and visually-appealing Canvas experience to host this community

Application and Enrollment Management

  • Support outreach and recruitment efforts by attending in-person and virtual recruitment fairs tailored for various audiences
  • Support admissions committee in application review and cohort building
  • Manage the online course enrollment funnel process
  • Oversee the build of student program rosters and learner groups for instructional needs

Learning Tools Development and Maintenance
  • Support the development, testing, and maintenance of in-house learning tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback for tool enhancements
  • Assist in documenting functionality, troubleshooting processes, and user guides
  • Provide basic technical support and training to faculty, staff, and students using these tools



Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Familiarity with Canvas LMS and experience using Canvas LTIs
  • Demonstrated experience working with high school students in an educational or enrichment setting
  • Skilled in community building and fostering student engagement in online environments
  • Basic coding knowledge or technical aptitude, with the ability to support or troubleshoot digital learning tools
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and a strong visual sense preferred

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
