St. Catherine University, located in St. Paul, Minnesota, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Assistant Professor, Occupational Therapy MAOT Bridge Program Faculty position. This is a 12-month professional practice contract beginning June 1st, 2026. Applicants interested in remote work may be considered if they reside in one of the following states: AR, CA, CO, DE, FL, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, NC, NY, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, DC, or WI.
The new St. Kate's Master's Bridge Program is for occupational therapy assistants with a bachelor's degree who are interested in advancing their careers. This Bridge Program is a five semester program with mostly asynchronous course work for the first three semesters and level II fieldwork for the last two semesters. This flexible, hybrid format requires only one in-person lab per semester for the first three semesters. Full time faculty are 12-month, fully-remote employees, as adjunct faculty are hired to teach the in-person labs in Texas.
The occupational therapy department, within the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health Sciences (HSSHS) at St. Kate's, has been an educational leader in occupational therapy for more than 80 years. The HSSHS, with 19 degree programs and approximately 100 faculty, is the largest of St. Kate's four schools. Degrees are offered to students at all levels, from the associate to the doctoral level. The school is distinguished by programs' shared focus on ecological approaches to health, intercultural competency, and interprofessional collaboration. Faculty and staff will find ample support opportunities for their teaching and scholarship. The Institute of Simulation and Interprofessional Learning (I-SAIL) provides resources and expertise to support the development and implementation of high-impact educational activities within HSSHS and the School of Nursing. The office of Sponsored Programs, Research, and External Engagement (SPREE) works with faculty to identify and prepare grant proposals.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience within their area of expertise.
- Proficient in navigating online learning systems and online teaching technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years experience within area of expertise, doctoral degree, and online teaching preferred.
- Experience in teaching neurology and kinesiology or adult rehabilitation preferred.

Compensation:
The salary for this position is $78,000 - $89,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
