The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The primary purpose of this position is to manage the daily services/functions and staff of the Office of the Registrar at SDM which includes two full-time employees.
- Collaborate with the Registrar to identify problems, make decisions and find solutions in order to improve processes utilized to provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, alumni, and staff.
- Organize, monitor and be responsible for all aspects of registration, grades, transcripts, student records and graduation.
- Manage the maintenance, integrity and retention of all academic records (current and past).
Required Skills
- Master's degree required.
- Must have 5-8 years of direct work experience in a similar capacity in higher education.
- Must have current knowledge of state and federal regulations related to student records and higher education practices.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with a diverse student population as well as faculty and staff at all levels.
- Requires excellent problem solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Information System a plus.
