What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Assist PI Yueqi Chen in the refactor and modernization of CAM/CAM-SIMA's code through separating computational and control code.
Rewrite control code into Python.

The starting salary for this position is $30,325.00 per year; this is a 25% FTE position working 10 hours per week.

What We Require

PhD in Earth Science.
Expertise in the application of Earth system modeling and data assimilation, as well as machine learning.

What You Will Need

Previous/current experience in working in NCAR.
