Description
The Department of English at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position to teach two courses during the Fall semester to begin in August 2026. The faculty member will teach two sections of "Introduction to Literary Studies."
There are no employee benefits associated with this part-time visiting faculty appointment. Compensation for teaching one course in the Fall 2026 is $8,000 per course
The College will not support H-1B visa applications that require the $100,000 employer fee.
Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
