Job Summary
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse populations.
The Department of Academic Advising & Student Development at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple part-time positions to teach First Year Seminar (FYSM) for Fall 2026. These positions are at the instructor level, and all sections will be delivered with an in-person teaching modality. A successful interview and teaching demonstration are required. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service.
Minimum Qualifications
A master's degree (or higher) from an accredited university, three years of experience working in higher education, and one year of college teaching experience (or equivalent) are required.
