The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Director, the Associate Director of Student Financial Assistance & Scholarships supervises and is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Financial Aid Representatives. The role formulates procedures for functional areas to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of information that is in compliance with Federal, State and Institutional regulations and supports Departmental and Student Affairs objectives. This position ensures institutional integrity and ethical standards that govern financial aid programs at the federal, state and institutional level.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Education, Business, or related field required.
- Experience
- 3 - 5 years successfully administering Title IV, HEA programs required.
- 2 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience managing a medium to large Financial Aid operation required.
- Deep knowledge of state and federal financial aid regulations; maintains an awareness of proposed changes and trends required.
- Strong written and verbal communications with proven ability to maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external constituents in order to provide support for the office and the students it serves required.
- Experience utilizing federal and state electronic systems (such as GAP, COD, NSLDS, CPS) required.
- Three or more years direct Financial Aid experience in a large comprehensive community college environment preferred.
- Experience working with Ellucian Colleague preferred.

Hiring Range:
Managerial 6 Salary/70,000.00 - 78,000.00
