Work with Impact Associates (student employees who support the work of the CSI) to create and execute impactful, educational, safe, and fun Alternative Break trips for students (trips that happen over weekends or official school breaks), including an on-campus experience during spring break, and pre- and post-trainings and reflections. This includes identifying the various locations, social issues, and pathways that will be explored on each trip; creating trip itineraries to provide a full experience to students; developing a learning curriculum and reflection questions to be used on the trip; recruiting student participants, staff/faculty advisors, and community partners; making all logistic arrangements; training and preparing all participants; and assessing and reporting on trip outcomes.
