Assoc Professor - Biostatistics

The Department of Public Health Sciences in the College of Health, Education, and Social Transformation at New Mexico State University is seeking applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor (tenured or tenure track) beginning January 11, 2024, or August 15,2024. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in biostatistics in the department, advising and mentoring MPH and Ph.D. students, scholarly activity, as well as department, college, and university service. The selected candidate is expected to provide statistical assistance to other departmental faculty and students in their research endeavors. A doctorate in statistics, applied statistics, or a closely related field is required. Classroom and online teaching experience and a record of scholarly work is preferred.
