Job Summary


The Business Development Coordinator would assist in overall revenue generation for the Athletic Department and be responsible for growing revenue streams such as Buffs Premier. This position would report to the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Revenue Generation and develop corporate partners, ticketing, external revenue opportunities, and concerts hosted at Folsom Field. The Business Development Coordinator would be the Director of Buffs Premier, the main point of contact for UCHealth, and assist in endeavors such as Folsom Field's concert business and in prospective partner meetings.

This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department's Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


Lead of Buffs Premier
  • Lead the overall strategy & run the day to day operations of Buffs Premier. This would include getting sport programs involved and using the marketing for each of those sports to push Buffs Premier memberships and bring value to the membership throughout all sports at CU, with a focus on Football, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball.

Corporate Partner Liaison
  • Be the main point of contact for UCHealth. Lead events such as the annual youth football clinic, Buff for a Day experience, and other events UCHealth wants to operationalize through their naming rights partnership with the Athletic Department.

Assist in concerts
  • Assist the Senior Associate AD of Revenue Generation in operationalizing concerts. Attend concert calls and handle administrative tasks associated with the concert business at Folsom Field.

Other duties as assigned
  • Assist in other revenue endeavors like ticketing strategy, outside events revenue and other areas as they arise.




What We Can Offer


Starting salary is $60,000.

  • Athletic Event Tickets: Per Athletic Department Policy and NCAA regulations, Nike Elite Employee Benefit: Per Nike Elite Policy. Supplemental camp pay: per Athletic Department Summer Camp Policy.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's Degree. Equivalent combination of education or experience to provide the necessary competencies.


What You Will Need

  • Ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with football coaches and staff, as well as department personnel.
  • Ability to set goals and support intent with effective planning, adjustments and evaluation.
  • Ability to use various recruiting software and platforms to improve efficiencies and create margins.
  • Ability to determine and track coaches and staff communication with prospects.
  • Ability to work with focus and diligence to meet position responsibilities and expectations.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, orally and in writing.
