Job Summary:
The University of Colorado, Colorado School of Public Health's (ColoradoSPH) Centers for American Indian and Alaska Native Health (CAIANH) seeks a Director to support its vision and mission to improve the health and well-being of American Indians and Alaska Natives. The Director provides leadership as well as operational and fiscal oversight of Centers faculty and staff, as they pursue research, education, program development, and information dissemination consistent with this mission. The Director position will be 0.2 FTE administrative appointment associated with a full-time, 12-month faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, tenure eligible, within the Colorado School of Public Health.
Supervision Received
The position will report directly to the Dean, Colorado School of Public Health.
Supervision Exercised
Employees of CAIANH report to this position. Depending on the scope of activities, the Center Director will supervise staff engaged in various activities related to American Indian and Alaska Native health. Faculty members are affiliated with the Center and have primary appointments with the schools of CU Anschutz.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
The starting salary range for this position has been established at $145,000 to $180,000 for the position of Associate Professor and an Administrative supplement of 5% of the faculty member's salary, up to a maximum of $30,000.
The starting salary range for this position has been established at $160,000 to $300,000 for the position of full Professor and an Administrative supplement of 5% of the faculty member's salary, up to a maximum of $30,000.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
