Assistant Swimming Coach

Job Summary

The University of Utah is seeking an Assistant Swimming Coach for its men's and women's swimming program. This position will assist with coaching, recruiting, student-athlete development, and program operations.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead swim workouts.
Provide technical instruction and coach at competitions.
Evaluate swimmer performance and provide feedback.
Recruit qualified prospective student-athletes.
Support student-athlete well-being, academic success, and personal development.
Assist with team travel, equipment, meet operations, and administrative duties.
Follow all University, conference, and NCAA rules.
Perform other duties assigned by the Head Coach.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
Several years of competitive swimming coaching experience.
Strong knowledge of swimming technique, training, and competition preparation.
Effective communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Preferences

Master's degree.
Experience coaching elite-level swimmers.
Collegiate recruiting experience.
