Gastrointestinal Pathologist

The Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Utah, University Health Care School of Medicine, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible full-time anatomic pathologist with subspecialty training in gastrointestinal pathology. Additional subspecialty expertise or interests will also be considered, provided they align with the needs of the department. Candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's clinical service, teaching, and research missions. The Division of Anatomic Pathology accessions more than 35,000 surgical specimens per year amongst a group of approximately 35 subspecialized pathologists. Additionally, the pathologists serve as medical directors for ARUP Laboratories, a national reference laboratory owned and operated by the University of Utah Department of Pathology. Ample opportunities are available for research collaboration with individuals at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
