Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of diagnosing and treating various conditions requiring rehabilitation. Familiarity with an electronic medical record is desirable. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be Board-certified in Pediatric Rehabilitation.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching rotating medical students, residents and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department. Participation is encouraged in regional, national and international meetings.

Clinical responsibilities may include Pediatric Rehabilitation Outpatient clinic and inpatient consultations in acute care setting as well as attending on the inpatient rehabilitation unit and sharing in on-call coverage. Opportunity to participate in patient-oriented research exists.Appointment at the

Associate rank requires documented meritorious academic service on the faculty of a peer medical school and be recognized for contributions in a designated Area of Concentration.
