Job Description
The University of Tennessee at Martin, College of Business and Global Affairs (CBGA), School of Business, seeks applications for a full-time Lecturer in Operations Management or a related field, starting August 1, 2026.

The University of Tennessee at Martin is a primary campus within the University of Tennessee System, with a combined undergraduate and graduate enrollment of approximately 8,100 students. The UT Martin College of Business and Global Affairs is accredited by AACSB. The emphasis is placed firmly on excellence in undergraduate instruction, and the CBGA seeks candidates who demonstrate a similar commitment.

Responsibilities
This is a nine-month position requiring faculty to teach five courses each semester (Fall/Spring) while maintaining an active research and service agenda. Courses to be taught include, but are not limited to, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Quality Management, Management Science, Service Operations, and Quantitative Analysis. Online and distance learning (DL) instruction is expected.

Responsibilities include undergraduate teaching, advising, research, outreach activities, curriculum and program development, assessment, service, and maintaining faculty qualifications in accordance with the college's AACSB accreditation standards.

Qualifications
Candidates must have an earned doctorate (PhD) in Operations Management or a related area. Candidates who are ABD may apply with the expectation that the PhD will be completed within one year of the hire date.
