The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Reporting to the Director of Alumni Engagement, the Assistant Director will be responsible for helping cultivate an engaged community of Questrom School of Business alumni to establish a robust structural framework for data-informed alumni engagement. Core functions will include designing, collecting, and analyzing key metrics to evaluate the success of alumni engagement initiatives, providing a data-informed perspective on engagement levels, and supporting the planning and execution of targeted programming. In collaboration with the Director, the Assistant Director will oversee/plan alumni events including regional, virtual, alumni weekend, and collaborative events with other campus partners that involve Questrom alumni.

Required Skills
  • Bachelors Degree with a minimum 4 years of experience in higher education, non-profit, or a similar work setting.
  • Experience in data management and analysis with the ability to work with large datasets and use data to inform decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and Google Suite with the ability to learn new software quickly and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks, assess priorities, and track details in a fast-paced environment.
  • High emotional intelligence with strong event management, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing engagement programs.
  • Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions and the ability to navigate and understand the needs and motivations of diverse individuals.
  • Open to feedback with the flexibility to pivot when needed.
  • Evening and weekend work required as needed.
