Job Summary
The Animal Care Technician Census Scanner is responsible for accurately scanning and recording animal census data across multiple facilities during each shift. This role supports the department in maintaining precise, up-to-date records of animal locations and counts, which are critical for billing accuracy and overall record keeping.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine scanning of animal cages in multiple buildings during assigned shift.
- Report any concerns or irregularities observed during scanning activities.
- Scan activate/deactivate tabs at the start of each shift.
- Immediately notify appropriate personnel of any irregularities found during shift.
- Maintain organization and efficiency while moving between facilities.
- Sanitize equipment and work space at conclusion of shift.
Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Animal Care Technician, I: Requires little to no related experience.
