Program CoordinatorSan Jose State UniversityJob ID: 23937Full/Part Time: Full-TimeRegular/Temporary: RegularJob Code: 3084, Range 1Department: MOSAICAbout the PositionUnder the limited supervision of the Director, the Senior Coordinator will assist in develop, coordinate and implement diversity and leadership trainings/programs for the SJSU campus; and serve on a variety of campus-wide committees as a representative of MOSAIC. The Senior Coordinator leads and develops the Diversity Advocate Program.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* Collaborate with the development of conferences and events* Design and monitor the dissemination of marketing and publications/relations materials relating to designated programs (e.g., brochures, programs, fliers, banners, advertisements, memos)* Lead in the development of outreach efforts to the campus community* Leads the planning and implementation of Leadership Today and Hip Hop for Change Conference* Lead and supervise the Diversity Advocate Intern Program* Serves as a team member in the program development, coordination and implementation of the Center's targeted programs.* Serves on campus committees that have implications for student organizations and work to promote campus diversity and leadership.* Serves as a team member to help plan, organize, and coordinate on MOSAIC signature events including cultural theme months and annual events.* Attends conferences, workshops, professional development sessions, etc. to ensure knowledge of diversity issues is current and relevant to campus and community.To Apply: http://www.sjsu.edu/hr/careers/jobs/
