Master's degree required. Experience developing curriculum and delivering classroom instruction. Experience developing and analyzing classroom assessments.



Job Duties:
  1. Develop/finalize course outcomes and determine minimum teaching criteria for the proposed COL 101 course
  2. Present the proposal to Curriculum and Academic Standards subcommittees and eventually College Council - once for an experimental pilot in the spring 2019 and again to finalize the curriculum for fall 2019 implementation.
  3. Work with administrators and other stakeholders to determine course criteria (who is exempt from COL 101, how will the procedure be enforced, etc.).
  4. Design a training curriculum for faculty who will be teaching the course.
  5. Recommend an ongoing method of COL-101 coordination.
  6. Create digital course materials and work with the external/internal organization selected to create course content videos
  7. Attend meetings as scheduled
  8. Perform other duties as required or assigned


Clearance: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
