WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Baylor University's Environmental Sciences department is seeking an independent, analytical, and organized Part-Time Field Technician. Some travel/short trips will be required for the position.

A bachelor's degree, less than one year of experience, and an active Christian Faith are required.
A bachelor's degree, two years of experience, and an active Christian Faith are required.

Applications must have a valid US Driver's License and be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Conduct laboratory research and basic field work for atmospheric sampling
Ensure research equipment maintenance and basic laboratory sample preparation
Light construction and instrument building will be necessary for the role
Complete quality control testing on lab samples, ingredients, products and equipment
Analyze and prepare reports for laboratory management
Ability to understand advanced computer-based data analysis
Facilitate inspection of raw material
Complete progress reports and documents; assist in carrying out experiments
Participate in required Safety training
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
Ability to comply with university policies.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
