Position Summary:
Manages all aspects of Met Radio in regard to MyMetMedia.com, events/promotions, and programming. Sets standards and holds show producers accountable to AP Style edits and post-production SEO accountability. Manages all promotional aspects of Met Radio, including, but not limited to, campus involvement and physical advertisements. Manages the programming of radio content, including, but not limited to, podcasts, live shows and live events. Reviews all music submissions sent in either via email or physical copy. Works with the GM to manage the 24-hour live radio broadcast and the playlists that make it up. #LI-DNI

Attends GM-scheduled weekly staff meetings

Attends Met Media events and periodic all-staff meetings

Approves all posts on MyMetMedia.com

Works minimum of 13 hours a week

Receives a bi-weekly stipend and/or Work-Study compensation

Ensures that show hosts are updating their shows

Works with the Creative Team for promotional materials

Handles proposals, scheduling, reviewing, training for shows and podcasts with the GM

Coordinates with hosts and reporters to develop show content, typically on a daily basis, training reporters in their field, and ensuring that all content is screened for potentially libelous material

Works with GM to ensure music automation is updated and running smoothly as well as reviewing submissions, contacting music labels, and creating engagement opportunities for artists on campus

Required Qualifications:
Must be a current MSU Denver Student Must have worked for Met Radio for at least one semester Experience updating and maintaining websites Experience using PC and Mac Experience using Microsoft Office/Office 365 Basic web site design experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership Experience Music Background/Interest Interpersonal Communication Conflict Resolution
