Essential Functions:
This is a lead professional staff position in the Transportation Department in NCCU Division of Student Affairs. This position works under the supervision of the Transportation Director overseeing campus Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program management. As part of ongoing campus sustainability initiatives and in partnership with local/regional agencies throughout the Triangle, the TDM Program Manager will work on programming initiatives supporting the Eagle Commuter Assistance Program (E-CAP) at NCCU.
  • Research, design, develop, and coordinate TDM program management activities supporting the NCCU Transportation Demand Management Plan (e.g. carpooling, commuter incentives, vanpooling, transit, bicycling, walking, carsharing, ridesharing, etc.).
  • Oversee the NCCU GoPass program including providing overall program management, coordinating annual distribution, analyzing performance metrics, and monitoring monthly reports to ensure program success (e.g. eligibility, distribution, budgetary, etc.).
  • Coordinate goals, objectives, and policies for TDM program management activities annually. Collect quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate the results of TDM program management activities. Compare the achievements of the established goals and objectives in setting new measures and policy as appropriate.
  • Provide TDM grant oversight, budget, quarterly reporting and annual renewal.
  • Collaborate with a variety of university affiliated departments and local, city, regional, and statewide partners related to TDM program management activities and implementation.
  • Assist in campus and regional outreach efforts (e.g. New Student Orientation, Campus Sustainability Day, Earth Day, etc.) aiming to raise awareness of alternative transportation options.
  • Lead innovative branding and creative design strategies supporting TDM program management activities.
  • Advance NCCU Transportation efforts coordinating and maintaining digital web content and social media design marketing strategies.

    Minimum Education/Experience:
    Bachelors degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
    All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    The successful candidate must possess a working knowledge social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.); knowledge of grant writing, monitoring, and administration; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, illustrator, Photoshop); knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, and PowerPoint) Applications; ability to work independently without direct supervision; ability to take initiative to develop, monitor, and complete projects and assignments within designated time-frames; ability to learn, interpret and analyze diverse information to make necessary decisions; ability to exercise judgment and discretion in identifying issues and related problem solving; ability to plan, prioritize and organize workflow; excellent analytical and organizational skills; excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of individuals to provide support, manage projects, negotiate, and explain information.
