Job Summary

The Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering welcomes applications for a Visiting Researcher. This position will contribute to research on seismic resilience of housing through: nonlinear simulation models, uncertainty propagation, and assessment of consequences. The position will also work to incorporate local conditions.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Develop nonlinear simulation models of housing in earthquakes.
Assess impacts of earthquakes on economic losses and functional recovery.

What We Require

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking PhD program.
