Job Summary


The Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering welcomes applications for a Visiting Researcher. This position will contribute to research on seismic resilience of housing through: nonlinear simulation models, uncertainty propagation, and assessment of consequences. The position will also work to incorporate local conditions.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Develop nonlinear simulation models of housing in earthquakes.
  • Assess impacts of earthquakes on economic losses and functional recovery.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking PhD program.
