The successful candidate will be expected to teach 3 courses per semester (24 units for the academic year) and contribute to a collaborative presence in the USF community.

Teaching responsibilities will include required core courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as possible electives in the candidate's area of expertise.

Practice-oriented and discipline-based theoretical or empirical research is encouraged; however, it is not an explicit responsibility of the position. Candidates at any professor rank, looking for a visiting position for a sabbatical year or other leave opportunity, are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements: Candidates must possess a doctorate (or be ABD) in accounting or related discipline. Previous professional experience (such as teaching or teaching assistantships, corporate training, pedagogical publications, or attendance at conferences) that demonstrates an interest in teaching excellence is expected.

As a Jesuit institution, diversity, equity, and inclusion are fully embraced at all levels of the University. An applicant interested in the position must have a commitment to social justice and ability to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff. In addition, applicants must have a strong equity lens and record of creating inclusive spaces for learning and development.

The Accounting Program has an undergraduate major and one graduate program, the Masters of Science in Accountancy. We also teach several core classes in the part-time, full-time, and Executive MBA programs.
